The core of the workshop is to promote development and entrepreneurship within the Australia–China renewable energy sector, with a particular focus on start-up founders, entrepreneurs, and early-stage innovators seeking cross-border collaboration and growth opportunities. The workshop includes thematic discussions, networking activities, and direct engagement with leaders across the renewable energy value chain, and also encourages participants to attend the SNEC Conference & Exhibition to explore global trends and emerging technologies in the solar industry.

The core of the workshop is to facilitate advanced technical exchange between emerging leaders from China and Australia, with a strong emphasis on cutting-edge developments in clean energy. With a particular focus on researchers and professionals in the clean energy sector, the workshop is held in conjunction with the Asia-Pacific Solar Research Conference (APSRC), and also supports intercultural exchange, leadership development, and sustained collaboration in research and innovation.

The core of the workshop is to build on the 2025 Solar Technology Cooperation program and support the long-term growth of emerging leaders in clean energy. By uniting returning participants and new candidates from policy and strategy fields, it provides advanced leadership training, cultural exchange, and stakeholder engagement alongside the Smart Energy Council Conference, fostering deeper Australia–China collaboration in the clean energy sector.
